Happy Meatless Monday Guys and Gals! 

Today we're featuring another seasonal favorite, the Ramen Bowl. Our ramen bowl is loaded with scallions and cilantro for a flavorful pick me up. Feeling under the weather? Pour our miso soup over it for a bowl full of healing properties. Miso has been used for ages in eastern medicine to boost immunity and cure whatever ails you. Our miso has kale, carrots, and homemade veggie broth. 

We chose black Forbidden Rice noodles for this bowl for a number of reasons. Forbidden Rice was once reserved for Chinese royalty, but you can find it in many of our dishes. The dark color of this rice is indicative of its high levels of antioxidants. The specific antioxidant found in black rice, anthocyanin, has been correlated with reduce cancer risk, improved brain function, and reduced inflammation. The high antioxidants also make this rice a great way to detox the liver of harmful toxin build up. This type of rice is also low in calorie, high in fiber, and a good source of plant based protein. We top our ramen bowl with a helping of our exceptional baked tofu for an added protein boost.
